Shipping & Policies

Thank you for choosing The Grounded Company. We take pride in creating bespoke rugs and carpets tailored exclusively to your vision. To ensure a seamless experience, please review our policies regarding production, payment, and shipping.

Order Confirmation & Payment Terms

Our payment process is structured to support the bespoke nature of our work:

◇ Order Initiation: The crafting process will officially begin only after your final CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is confirmed and a 50% advance payment has been received.

◇ Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to the final dispatch and delivery of your rug.

The Artisan Cycle & Production Time

Every piece at The Grounded Company is meticulously brought to life by our skilled weavers.

◇ Timeline: Please allow an artisan cycle of 3 to 6 weeks for your custom rug or carpet to be completed.

◇ Weather Dependency: Because our traditional crafting, washing, and dyeing methods are deeply connected to the environment, our timelines are dependent upon weather and climate conditions. We will keep you informed if natural elements cause any slight adjustments to your timeline.

Cancellations

● Bespoke Commitment: Because we handle fully bespoke pieces tailored specifically to your space and design, we are unable to cancel your order or offer refunds once the weaving process has been initiated. We ask that you carefully review and approve your CAD design before paying your advance.

Handcrafted Characteristics

-- A Note on Artisanal Charm: Because our rugs are fully handcrafted rather than machine-made, there is a chance for minor color variations from the digital CAD or sample. These subtle differences are not defects, but rather the beautiful, unique signatures of authentic artisanal craftsmanship.
